I am trying to buy a 69 Camaro X-66 body. Clear title with original cowl tag never been tampered with. 01C build date Hugger orange with a Black interior 4/speed single fuel line.It need all the normal sheetmetal replaced that is usually bad on these cars. The trunk pan- rockers-shock towers & doors are all OK. No motor or trans. but has a 12 bolt I assume is original. All disc brake parts are there except the m/cyl. & booster. I need to know what to offer on this car. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Depends,
IF (Big IF) the cowl tag is real and single fuel line, then thats good. BUT, without the orig L78, I would value the car at no better than a standard X66 unless you can get difinitive proof of what it is/was, ie, POP, etc. Post a pic of the tag and many here can tell you 1. if it is real, and with the VIN, if it matches up. As far as price, without pics, it could range from 2,500-15,000. Hope this helps some.......

Thanks for the reply Rich. There is no question about the cowl tag being real. I looked at this car 20 years ago and it is still sitting in the same place in about the same condition. The car has not been for sale till this week. It has the correct BB heater box and BB motor stands. Also has some of the original white SS stripe on fenders and doors. It is close to the one for sale except the car I am looking at has no motor and an original single fuel line.

How nice/complete is the interior? how are the rear quarters? I'd say $5-10K.
