Now THAT is one neat collection! I can only imagine how many millions that is worth.

Great, love the Schwinn Stingray bikes. Where's the collection located?

San Clemente. He had a party there on Sat night. He spent more on the NOS Schwinns than he did on any of the Rapid Transit cars.

hi charlie....richie in long island told me about this thread. as always, thank you for the kind words. i see that even freddie said something nice (still not going to stop me from choking him). it would be enlightening to see this "stuff" through the eyes of some non-mopar guys. so if a dozen or so guys (or gals) want to come down while i am in town it would be a blast to fire it all up. btw i read where some of the guys on this board made some references to values and costs of this collection. back 15 years ago i was considered the "weirdo who buys the signs" at all the shows. plus the hundreds and hundreds of dealerships REALLY thought ed and i were nuts for buying this "junk" (then again my mentor, ed meyer, IS nuts). those were the days!! with regards to the elusive piece....there is one for sure. its the 4 sided plymouth rapid transit display from 1970 and 1971. all i have is a small piece of it so i know it did exist. stay in touch charlie. best wishes always, steve
