Default Looks like Mr Norm tried to clone my car!

Current issue of "Mopar Action" magazine. Didn't they know you could order a Hemi-Challenger with a T/A hood if you wanted that menacing look! Guess no one told these guys.

Saw this car shortly after rescue this past winter. Haven't seen article yet. Absolutely phenomenal. Had a pair of big ol' fat tires on rear. This is an origial paint 4 speed car. Mr Norm stickers on valve covers. What a find!!!!!!! Quite simply........the perfect Challenger.

Didnt they give out the ta hoods only after the shaker hood stock was used up? just wondering, after owning several shaker cars, i thinks the ta hood would be my choice for the time fact that the shaker is a pain in the *** when you have to access the carbs.

There was no shoratge of Shakers for Challengers in 70 or 71. There were problems with them being installed on Challengers and they did stop installing them for a period, but there is no documented proof showing a T/A hood being installed in replace of an ordered Shaker. You could order a T/A hood on a non-T/A Challenger by checking off code N94 on the order form. You can probably count on one hand the cars ordered this way. It was the ultimate set-up for performance. The Hemi breathed much better with the forced cool air than with a shaker hood. I know there is 2 Hemi-Challengers in the Chrysler registry with factory installed T/A hoods. One is mine. Probably more tucked away somewhere but that remains to be seen.

The Challenger in this article had its hood installed at Mr Norms. It was originally a shaker car. And the hood they used was not a factory T/A hood. I would agree that this has to be the ultimate Hemi-Challenger.

For the ultimate Chally, I would argue it's Steve Juliano's EV2 with a sunroof.

Please remind me. How was Steves Challenger equipped besides the sun-roof?
