Snowmobiling is some of my funnest memories. Do you have one, looks perfect for it.

Have fun shoveling, LOL.

Wow! Oh such sweat revenge for those "Ill'annoyians" who always tease and compare their "beautiful" Illinois weather to my Minnesota weather. Beautiful day here yesterday and today. Cold but beautiful. Please keep that crap.

Don: did you guys get any of the ice? We got just a smidge, but folks to the west of us got hammered with several inches of ice, before they got several inches of snow dumped on them...a large portion of Springfield was without power last I knew...

We have about 12" of snow on top of a couple inches of ice and sleet.

I talked to Annie and the Stowers' on the way to work and they have about the same. Don is out playing with his new snowblower while Judi watches from the window. Annie is curled up on the couch with her dogs.

At present, all of us have power but Judi said there are power outages all around them. The snow has stopped, but we still have some blowing and drifting.

Hope everyone else is doing OK!

We got about a quarter inch of rain and about a quarter inch of sleet here before it froze and split a tree in half and broke 2 limbs out of another, and we were on the weak part of it.

Rob, We were supposed to get freezing rain and ice through yesterday's rush hour. Luckily we did'nt. The majority of our snow came over night. I was up at 4 a.m. and we had about 4" when I actually cleaned the drive at 6 a.m. there was about 8". A lot of snow fell in a short time. We got about 11" total in my area. Maybe thats it for the season.

Stuart, We used to have a couple of nice sleds. I sold them when my kids were born. Now they're 6 & 7 so it's probably a good time to take them with. The problem is we usually don't see enough snow locally to justify. This season may be the exception.

Hey Redondo-I see the Gambler with a Nova sitting on top. Is that your Nova?

A sideline...A little agony and ectasy(or ectasy and agony) before the storm.... Just before the snow I fired the Nova with your motor!!!! Completed a couple of round town no hood blasts. Ectasy.... good oil pressure and temp, no leaks...then the agony...while jumping back and forth into the car I realized(way too late) that I had a screwdriver in my back pocket!!!! I was so pi$$ed all I do do was laugh hysterically while counting 5 holes in a seat that had been sat on 1 time. Oh well...something to work on this winter.
