Default Found a time machine, non GM

My daughters 16th birthday is next month.Found a little gem to surprise her with.

It's a super nice Powder Blue 79 Capri. The thing is in incredible condition for being 28 years old. It's showing 98k,no rot, mint interior, dry underneath and rolling late 90's GT wheels.

It has a straight six/AT/PS/AC.

Hopefully she will like it.

If she doesn't like it she was raised wrong which I am sure is not the case.

Take a hint from someone with experience giving a daughter a car when she turned 16.........explain to her what those little cranks on the each door are for. My daughter was absolutely clueless how to open the windows on her car until I showed her the cranks. I won't bore you with the "age" comments I heard from her after that.

Very nice car.

Jimmy,

I'll tell you what. If your daughter decides she doesn't
like it ( can't imagine why though ), I'll take it for my
oldest daughter, who is about to start driving herself.

Nice find

Get your daughter a jeep, it will be perfect in NC, and any jeep is cool when youre in high school, you wont ever hear the "old car" comment.

That would be the car I'd put my daughter in, if I had one!

If she LOVES it, then we have a clue to the future of the car hobby, right?

Popular then.............Popular now.
