I thought at one time I read a book or a magazine, or maybe even on the internet, photographs of what the 1973 model GM products would have looked like without the mandatory 5mph bumpers. Does anyone know where I can find these photos or info...it may have also just been styling proposals. If anyone can direct me, I would greatly appreciate it.

When I hit that link, it tells me no products found. I have been on that site before, they have some good stuff.
The photo, that stands out in my mind was a 73 Chevelle, without that massive bumper. I think it may have been in an old magazine. I have way too many old mags to start searching there. I was hoping to find it on here. Thanks for the help though, Dennis |

The '73 Chevelle had big bumpers. The '73 Chevelle Laguna had a soft front- no chrome bumper.
If you click on the link; click on Chevrolet. You may have to do a search for 1973. For me the link works; but not every time. |

The photos I am referring to are not what actually came out, they were what they would have looked like if they did not have that 5mph bumper mandate. It was a much smoother and graceful line. I'm thinking it may have been in an early 90's Super Chevy magazine...If I ever find the photos I will post them.
