Default 1967 Vette stinger hood question

Dad had a stinger hood made for his 67 Chevelle a few years ago. For fathers day I had the stripe finally painted on it. Does anyone have rough measurements of the insert used on the Vettes? The mold is supposed to be from a Vette but Glasstek can not verify if I ordered the insert that it will fit.
Thanks in advance
Lewis

Here's one picture I have. It's not the best but it's been raining cats and dogs the last few days. Dad was more than surprised.

who made that hood for you? is it a one of a kind? I have a stinger hood for my Nova and a NOS vette trim insert, the hood will need to be cut open to install the trim. Let me know if you need measurements.

The hood was custom made by Glasstek. It looks like I had the stinger done wrong, the red goes too far down. Looking at the picture you posted the distance from the stinger to the points on the scoop appears wider on dads. if you have time to get some rough measurements I would appreciate it. There is no rush, dad likes it as is so if the insert doesn't work at least he's still happy

Might be a bit hard to do now its painted, mine is a actual recess with a backing in the glass not just a hole cut into it, might just have to paint the opening satin black or something.

The factory corvette stripe is thinner than what appears on most Camaros and Novas. It dosen't really matter if dad is happy.

The measurements I was referring to was the scoop opening, I can compare to my NOS piece to see if your aftermarket unit will fit. I would imagine that the scoop itself is the same size on all the hoods.
