Default Unofficial results, PS drags in Stanton

As been happening all over the place, the Pure Stock drag meet in Stanton, MI has been fighting the elements. Friday PM saw the sun come out for awhile, which allowed for three rounds of qualifing. Saturday's elims have been cancelled due to the rain. Here are the unofficial results from qualifing.

#1. Julie P. L-88 Corvette 11.70
#2. JJ L-88 Corvette 11.90
#3. Bob K. Hemi Cuda 11.95
#4. Scott T. '68 Ram Air II 12.01
#5. CopoPete ZL-1 Camaro 12.01
#6. Jim S. Super Bee 12.04
#7. ? L-71 Corvette 12.09
#8. Rob C. Yenko Camaro 12.18

thanks for the info on the qualifying times Rob.i guess JJ put a new 4 speed in the L-88 corvette?I also understand Dave h is retiring the ramrod after this weekend.rob,they plan on trying to run on sunday.chris teed

They called the race early on Saturday with no provision of a rain date. I made the trek in hopes that the weather man was wrong. I managed to put together a pretty good pass on my second run and put it in the trailer. If I had run faster than my 13.52 @ 101.54 by .3 on the breakout rule, I would have still done a happy dance. It is the original and still the best. 125-130 cars showed even with the threat of rain.

JJ did not break the 4-speed, but the clutch that gave up the ghost.
