Maybe the code is for the seat material color...not the car color?

Thats what Sammys car has back there. I think it definetly stands for dark green. My 69 Judge is Liberty Blue and on the firewall I found DBL which I figured ment Dark Blue. Or maybe Dark Blue Liberty

Jim @ Heartbeat has 'DRGN' chalkmarked on the firewall of his Fathom Green ZL-1 #40....the car is restored, but I'd imagine they copied it from original..... you can see it on his website...

Yes My Z/28 has a DG 3 on that bulk head. I believe this was the work of one person or a certain shift. I have a Fathom Green Z with a dark green interior. DG would be dark green interior I am assuming. My car is an X33. Darren's friend had a red 69 camaro with a R 1 on the bulkhead. It had a red interior. Most say X3, X7 etc for X33 or X77 but my car Darrens, friend and this car on the site here has the same markings. Maybe the same builder or same shift. I have an early car, 11D of 1968. Sam
