Default 1969 Camaro Trim Tag

I am talking with a guy about a '69 Camaro for sale with a trim tag that has an assembly plant code of NOR 102816. The VIN is 6719XX. Would these numbers match up? It seems to me that the assembly plant code is too low compared to the VIN. I do not have a picture of the trim tag at this time.

Any help would be great.

Thanks, Kurt

It's fine.

The BDY #s were reset at the beginning of August 69.

Dave, thanks for the reply. The car I am looking at is paint code 57 which is Frost Green. I am wondering if a COPO car was available in this color? So far I have not found any information of what colors were used.

Oops...I meant 59 paint code. It was very late for me last night when I was online.

Thanks for the correction Don.
