Ive found a picture of a -69 SS at Long Island Islip Speedway.
The photographer remember it as RS/SS 4 Speed Big Block.
This was taken at Islip Speedway on Long Island in Sept/Oct -69.
Its not the -67 stinger, its the one that is behind it.

Nikke had contacted me asking about this car - I am unfamiliar with it -
Below is his e-mail if anyone else can knows anything about it!

(you've got a good memory Rob!)

Thanks Glenn.
I have a -69 Camaro RS/SS with a service install
427 hi-perf by Brahms Chevrolet Palisades Park NJ.
As they say it was sponsored by Brahms -69 -71
when it was racing at Englishtown Oldbridge Park.
Ive been searching info about this car for 3 years
now. Maybe it raced at Long Island instead.
In the service book it says,
SERVICE INSTALL 427 HIGH PERF ENGINE FOR OFF HIGHWAY USE ONLY VOID THIS CONTRACT OF NEW VEHICLE WARENTY
#12437 9Nxxxxxx

WARRENTY
Brahms Chevrolet Company inc
Date 3/21/69
Void xx

There have been a rolling cage in it.
There is a sticker at the inner rear mirror that say
NHRA DRIVER
SECTOR NORTH EAST

I have pictures from mid -90s when they are sanding it down for re paint.
And they found Chevy by Brahms written in gold paint at the rear fenders.
To me it seems to have been a pro stock or modified production car.
If you want pictures, I can e-mail some to you.
Nikke

Not far from Palisades Park lays Island Dragway, Newark.
Maybe it started as a Super Stock Car.

Wasn't there another Camaro that had a Brahms installed 427 on eBay about 3 years ago? I remember it was up for sale a few times..
