Default Amazing Slot Car Track

Well, recently I pulled out my Scalextrix slot car track that I haven't used in a decade. I went online to SlotForum.com to see what the latest is in slot car tech. Well I came across a post from a guy who set up an amazing track!!

It utilizes something called Best Lane Slot Technology (BLST). What simply means is there are lane changers (LC's) and the cars have multiple ways to navigate the track. The BLST will keep the car on the optimum line hitting enttry points, apexes and exit points on curves. If a second car is in danger of collision it will divert that car and if the no 2 car is close the BLST will put that car out of the best lane so it has a chance to pass:

Here is a link to the forum where he describes the build:

The vid shows the track without scenery. Take a look at the vid with scenery. Simply amazing!!!!

Warning!! This may get you into wanting to purchase a slot car track and some cars!!!!!!

Still got my Aurora Camaro just like this one, in a shoebox with the rest of my slot cars. I got the Aurora Golden Gate Bridge set for Xmas in 1969 and thought I had died and gone to heaven. My dad and I raced those cars for hours. Sold the track in 1985 but kept the cars.

Over Christmas I visited with a friend who collects them. He probably has 20 or more of those Camaros new in the box among other mint sets and accessories. Its literally like walking into a hobby store in the late 60's early 70's.
