Jerry MacNeish went a 10.86 and Ben Wenzel went a 10.79 at the Points Meet in Columbus. Not bad for a warm weekend! Jerry got to the 4th round of the Eliminator also. Both ran D/Stick with power from "The Mouse That Roars" a 302.

Been to Columbus back in the late '60's. That's a very slow track too. How do they get those 302's to run that fast? Well's Brothers out here run the 302 and they are in the 10.90s to 11.00's ETs.

How do they get them to run that good.....time and money! Mine shaft conditions I have seen Jerry run in the 10.50 range. Paying attention to the little stuff and spending big on the clutch set-up.

Yep! Wenzel bought his new! Jerry's is a real 1967 Z with a white interior.
