man this sks. My 69 camaro came from there. I had some emails going back and forth last year with the current owner of thorstat and how things were when it went from hult to thorstad. He was checking for old dealer floor shots to see if my car was in them. oh well, better hold on to his name now that I know I wont find him through the dealership anymore..
I watched the senate review of gm and chrysler (was channel flipping), as far as canning dealers, and what was their rationale. Its appears the dealers cost them nothing to run. yet they are canning them. I don't get it (there was no good explanation, the did say gietner (obama camp) stuck their finger in it. closing existing dealer and building new ones in the same town, its just another scam (they gave examples, it made no sense). For example they closed 3 chrysler dealers in waco texas (all of them), only to build a new dealership. Its just a mess. thorstat proably did not donate to the democratic party enough. If the owner is a registered republican, then there is your answer why thorstat is closing.
