![]() ![]() I may be wrong but I think that casting number was only used in 1969 for 350ci/300hp and 302ci/290hp motors.

Holding back on the stamping on the pad? [/ QUOTE ] It was an HD, and the VIN matched, we pulled it out of my friends Chevelle and I told him about the 388 block in my 69 Camaro SS that was a 4 bolt. We pulled the pan and saw it was a 2-bolt like this one.
