Default HOLY COW! US Nats coverage

Anyone else watching the US Nats coverage on ESPN2 (from yesterday)? I happened to flip over just in time to see Ashley Force win & be matched up with Robert Hight in the finals, but immediately after they interviewed John Force, Tony Pedragon came over and he & John went toe-to-toe! Multiple F-bombs...

They're thinking John Force took a dive...chose the right lane when no other fuel car with lane choice was taking that lane, was waaay late on the light, and then drove it right out of the groove...oh, but Graham Light said "they're gonna take a look"...

I believe that was Tony calling John a Cheater. I dont think Tony has anything to say. Remember Tony drove for John for 8 years and won the Championship.

force has never won the u.s. nationals, i don't think he'd pass up on a chance to win it.

I think John took the dive and I am a huge Force fan. Like Mike Dunn said; he has an average reaction time of .085 or something like that but, this race he chooses the lane that everyone else avoided, has a .205 reaction time and veers toward the wall.............c'mon.

and he had a flat tire...and the spare was flat, too...and he ran out of gas...and he got lost...and his map was missing the last page...there was a flood...and locusts!!!

Why am I picturing the scene with the late great John Belushi in Blues Brothers, where he is trying to explain why he didn't show up for his wedding day with Carrie Fisher, as she aims her M16 at him.

I agree, and I've always been a Force fan. Corporate sponsorship being what it is due to our economy, well,.......... JFR has a huge payroll. Getting the AAA car in the chase can't hurt next year's sponsorship prospects.

But the Graham Light decision didn't surprise me a bit either. The NHRA is about $$$$$ and JFR brings them untold revenue from licensing. Had it been the likes of a Tim Wilkerson I think you'd see a different determination. Just my opinion.

It's pretty clear that John could be on the Olympic Dive team after that one. Hey they have a " Team " and he did what he could to get the " Team " to win
