Good question. I was told some time ago that the 3954876/3954875 arms were used on the 69 Z/28. However, several years ago (before 2000), Heartbeat Jimmy told me "I don't care what you heard from what source, the 3954873/3954874 arms are correct for all 69 Z/28's". That is what was on my 69 Z when I got it in '76. However, I have reason to believe they may not be the originals.

The 76 / 75 set is shorter by about 1/4 inch, correct?

Hello,

This is from the 1970 parts book with my extra notes. I have seen the first two on manual drum p/s Novas. Which may indicate there were substitutions, intended or otherwise.

3954873 L.H. 69 Chevy (exc. 350,396),
69 Camaro (exc. P/S, Spec. Strg., 302),
70 Nova (exc. P/S, 350, 396, Disc Brakes)
(coded HY or ??)
3954874 R.H. 69 Chevy (exc. 350,396),
69 Camaro (exc. P/S, Spec. Strg., 302),
70 Nova (exc. P/S, 350, 396, Disc Brakes)
(coded NH or KL)
3954875 L.H. 69 Camaro w/P/S (exc. Spec.Strg.),
69-70 Chevy (P/S, w/frt. Disc Brakes) (350, 396),
69 Camaro w/Disc Brakes (302)
(SHORT 5.25" Used on power steer, and Z/28 fast ratio manual)
3954876 R.H. 69 Camaro w/P/S (exc. Spec.Strg.),
69-70 Chevy (P/S, w/frt. Disc Brakes) (350, 396),
69 Camaro w/Disc Brakes (302)
(SHORT 5.25" Used on power steer, and Z/28 fast ratio manual)
