Does someone have a tried and true Corvette Bronze paint code/formula in either PPG or Dupont paint?????
Camaro Specialties restored a Corvette Bronze Yenko Camaro several years ago... I'd sure like to get the color they used! |

Can someone please point me towards the thread about the resto of this Camaro? That's the paint I'm looking for... for my Corvette Bronze 68 SS/RS 396 convertible that I'm trying to get painted before summer.

I got a call from Ed at Camaro Specialties the other day... and he found what he thinks is the PPG formula for the Corvette Bronze Yenko they painted a few years back.
The PPG paint code is 61039, but its broken down as follows for a one-quart formula: Tint 629 - 317.8 grams Tint 631 - 416.0 grams Tint 616 - 505.2 grams Tint 644 - 580.2 grams Tint 651 - 597.5 grams Tint 671 - 601.9 grams Tint 695 - 1072.2 grams total I'll let you know how closely it matches the original paint... |
