From what can be seen by looking at the pictures I'd say the guy is asking too much money for a basic Camaro with the RS package.
I think your brother could do much better for the money.

Agree, a rug covered dash? For that money? Add in the tired looking engine compartment, and who knows what is in that engine.... I'd keep looking.

This is in Germany right? That could make a world of difference. I imagine the import costs and taxes has to add up quick. Not to mention the trip to find the car.

The exterior looks nice. The interior obviously needs work. If he likes hot rods rather than originals, the ratty interior may allow him to have it done the way he likes.

actually the interior is pretty nice, IMHO, it has a dash mat on it to protect the dash or to cover up the curled dash (they ALL curl)

seems to be an ok car but just too much $$$$$ IMHO

Nah, just for you SW folks But I'd take a curled dash over NE rust anyday

Jochen, IF in fact your brother is searching out a 70-73 R/S Camaro, the members at www.nastyz28.com may be able to help you find what a want.

Yeah, the car is located in Germany. Sorry...

I told my brother to look in the states for a car, but he won't.

If you import a car from a foreign country, you have to pay for the shipping (1500 euro + overseas), customs (10%), tax (19%), inspection (it depends on the date of built) and for the paperwork (500 euro +).

Anyway, the Camaro is too expensive...
