Default Any interest in Original Type Door watershields?

I have the originals off the low mile 69 Z I am restoring and the repros are nowhere close to correct. The originals are manufactured from coated brown kraft paper.
I have located a company who can coat the paper and diecut the shields, I am now trying to guage interest to figure out if this will be economically feasible, the first ones would be for 68-69 Camaro Coupes.

The price will be equal to or less than the currently available product (Mylar) which is nowhere close to correct.

I appreciate any input and or comments,

Thanks
James

Even though they cannot be seen, I ALWAYS use the kraft paper watershields on the Chevelles as opposed to the clear plastic. I also go as far as regluing on the plant decal and running the green line across the face (like anyone is ever going to remove the door panels and care). Old habits are hard to kill I guess. I would certainly be interested in the correct Camaro watershields.

If all pans out I will do them for A-bodies, Novas, as well as Vettes. The main issue is volume as it is quite expensive to set up and coat paperboard in small quantities. When I called some of the coating plants I use for large volumes they didn't want to discuss the project.
The Camaro ones have a redline on them. Not all of the original Camaro ones have the Redline nor would I believe all had the greenline. Typically the Lines on one side of the sheet indicate the end or beginning of a new roll and it (the line) indicates the rough(wire) side of the paper which will not be coated, most virgin paper is made on a Fourdriner Papermachine which uses a felt on one side to support the wet pulp and a wire mesh on the otherside. WSI wireside in or WSO wireside out... big difference when coating paper.

At least on Chevelles I have only seen the stripe on about 20% of the weathershields I have removed. The A-bodies are currently available and are very nice to start with.
