Yes there was a plug, do not know the color.

Mine is green. It also has an "M" on the stick.

1967 Z's have a brown plug, not sure what markings are on the blade itself. I can pull mine from my car later this evening if needed.

I would think that the markings should be same for all small blocks, 5 qts. But the different plastic plug colors must have some reason on the assembly line back then. Volspeed, if you could get that info or snap so pics. It would be greatly appreciated. Roger
