Default 65 Impala L78

Hi,

I am currently building a 65 Impala SS to be a L78 car. This is not a numbers matching nor am I claiming it to be, maybe more of a clone but not 100%.

I am looking for photos of factory correct cars engine area mostly. What little I find on the web is somewhat not what I need, but still does help. One issue I am having is with the spacer between the core support and the radiator. I know that on the big block it is the skinny one, but some of the photos I have seen show one that more looks like one from a 67 Impala. On a 65 it has a curve top and on a 67 it is flat, am I correct on this? The 67 one also has what I would call a rib or crown down the center, and the 65 is flat?

I am also looking for a power steering hose for big block.

Love the wagon.

I really believe that the 65 and 66 Impalas are way underrated and undervalued.
