Hello,
I've got an NOS 4 speed shifter assembly, part number 6264025 that is still in the box. The interesting thing is that it doesn't say "Muncie" on the handle, it is just plain. It is 100% identical to my Muncie handle in my 68 Z, but again, no Muncie stamp on the side. I've been told it is an early 67 Z-28 shifter as the first few hundred off the assembly line didn't have the Muncie stamp. Do any of you know? What's the value of this? Thanks |

That is the Saginaw version. It did not have Muncie stamped into it since the trans was not a Muncie. The value is 1/4 to half to value of its Muncie counterpart.

Just to clarify, the shifter body itself is the same for the Sag and the Muncie. The difference is in the linkage, shift levers and the stablizer shaft.

Yes, exactly. The handle is what most are looking for.
