OK, for something comepletely different, I'll start off this week's Pavillions thread - albeit with no photos (there will be plenty to follow, trust me on this [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif[/img] ) I made one of my very infrequent pilgrimages to the Rock 'n' Roll McDonalds. Was treated to a whole lotta great looking cars, trucks, motorcycles and various other modes of transportation. Glad I <span style="font-style: italic"><span style="font-weight: bold">finally</span></span> got to meet Rick E. and his son Brian....we talked for a long time, as if we were old friends! Later in the afternoon, Bruce, Lynn, and Holly stopped by for a visit. Saw several other people that I *believe* are members of this site, but I don't know nearly as well as some others here. Things are gearing up for the usual big January-in-AZ auction extravaganza. Today was Russo & Steele day at the Pavillions, with them displaying a number of cars that will be going across the block at their event later this month. They were also having a judging of cars whose owners took the time to register for same (I opted not to).

Great meeting you Bill! Next time you come up, I'm putting the camera down and talk like we did today!

I wanted to take the load off Bruce so he could socialize, he's put in his dues.

Had a great time guys. Just when you think the Pavillions Cruise can't get any better, it does! The car people ROCK!

If you are going to be hangin' at Russo & Steele, I might well see you there. If we meet again, or not, hope you and Bill have a wonderful time out here....it's nirvana for car enthusiasts!

Thanks, Rich....it is a neat car, but honestly, it looks better in pictures than it does in person!
