I think the car was from what I have read about the supposed original one being crushed/deliberately destroyed.. But who really knows....
I watched the "BIG SATURDAY NIGHT AUCTIONS" with some friends and all it was in my opinion was a "circus" Really stupid money spent for some of this stuff!! Rich

Here is a link to the PCS group that corresponded with Steve davis about the authenticity of the car, its a long read.
http://www.professionalcarsociety.or...ead.php?t=4201 The car was bought by Addison Brown, see a mention of her in this article. http://arizonafoothillsmagazine.com/...ider/1584.html After the auction closed Tammy Allan bought the car. Looks like a cover up to make BJ look good. Ethical company my #$s. http://www.vipermagazine.com/issues/...r_charity.html The tread uncovers a lot of what was skimmed over in the news reports. the PCS guys are not savy on what looks or does not look like a restoration. The car at the auction was evidently restored er.... painted. Paul

Her Dad has since been convicted for bribery/corruption/etc and is in the slammer. She's hot though in a sort of airy, flat affect, Valiumy sort of way. The next-to-last link about holiday parties at Craig Jackson's makes me glad I wasn't invited. C'mon now, this is Scottsdale high society: "The evening's cuisine included my favorite fish tacos, grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup"?!?!?! The first link is 37 pages of discussion amongst people, imo, with absolutely no lives. Quote from next to last page: "Like Steve I to was away doing non-Kennedy ambulance related things yesterday and last night and away out of my basement unable to blog about something and a subject I know absolutely know nothing about as I set and inhaled my stock of Twinkies and play World of Warcraft trying to defeat the Narthal tribe in the west woods of Zagurthalua!" In conclusion, the car's pedigree is questionable but Tammy is doable. Q.E.D. |

The fact that it went 37 pages and did not get derailed by someone getting offended and asking moderators to cancel or folding their tent and going home. What impressed me was that they were successful in causing BJ and the seller to step back and evaluate what they were trying to do, BJ being the ethical company it is decided to go ahead anyway and conveniently had a close personal friend bid enough so that the lawyers would be kept at bay. If the group from PCS saw some of the exchanges on here and similar sites they would say we have no lives either. They took issue with a car that was misrepresented. This and other car sites will devote 37 pages on whether a fuel line clip is correct. I am guilty of wading in on long topics as well. If you want to see a testy bunch of internet bloggers go over to Copcar.com or Realoldspower.com. Thick skin mandatory. Paul

Now that I've sobered up, I see your point. Apparently, Ms Allen decided to pass on the car after all, according to her Facebook entry about 6 hours ago: Allen Unique Autos's Photos So I guess we won't be going to Grand Junction any time soon. |

I would not go to see the car, saw it Friday. Now if Tammy invites me.......thats another story. So I guess ms Addison Brown is stuck with the car, my guess is we never hear of it again. No wait I think I see it behind the grassy knoll.........
