The first sentence says it all.."In 2008 a seemingly impossible Nova L89 appeared from nowhere."

Without discussing THIS particular car, if the L89 option was candeled in Oct, 69, is it possible that one was built before it was canceled? Didn't 70 Nova production start in Aug, 69?

Any documnented L89 Camaros that were built between Aug 69 and Nov, 69?

Thanks Ken for bringing this up again. I was wondering what happened to that car. If I was him I would put a pair of steel heads on that car and try to get $50,000 for it. To many stories, to many questions and like you said the Facts, only the facts. Some things are so rare they seem worth a lot less than they should be cause nobody knows anything about it or can't get any straight answers. Besides it a 1970 and its a nova so................???

I never noticed the late air cleaner on this car. I wonder if it has a throttle cable or the rod? I thought the owner claimed the car was built with this motor because of it's early production and the motor slipped in the car before it got cancelled. Like Sam said it would make a real nice L78 Nova.

From what I remember Chevrolet started installing this later style air cleaner later in the production year. Heh but what is an air cleaner on a car with so many other concerns?
