1965 Chevelle Malibu SS L6 Timecapsule

Saw this car a few days ago by pure luck and arranged a photoshot for today. It will be featured in upcoming Swedish magazine.

Car is a L6 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS sold new in Sweden and delivered in May 1966. Present owner is number four. It has 68.000 miles ( really it is 110.000 km since it has a KPH Speedo) on the odometer. Everything is original, paint and interior, chrome looks like new. Body is straight except a minor dent in one door.

Preserved in a fantastic condition. Complete paperwork, servicebook and everything back to the first owner who had it to 1988. Since most cars exported to Sweden at that time were made in Canada the second owner got a report from George Zapora.

One option is A62 Restraint system front seat (Delete), the American seat belts were not approved in Sweden so all cars exported here had no seat belts from the factory. They were then equipped with belts from a Swedish manufacturer (same as were used in Volvos)
Other options on all GM cars sold new here were F40 HD suspension, G80 Positraction and C50 Rear window defogger.

Cool car even though it is a 230 sixbanger and just in perfect shape after all these years.
