If the corvette goes for a fair price, it would be worth the gamble. You might end up with a numbers matching copo camaro. That could make for one great story to read.

Could be genuine and hopefully so but keep in mind we've looked at more than a few restamp Copo Suffix engines/blocks here in the past..
Same as if in the car it belongs to, due diligence is necessary before accepting anything as reported and broaching, fonts, dates etc need to be checked also when possible compared w/ known genuine examples!.
