It is a cool little car. Imagine restoring one and running down to The Gap at your local mall for seat fabric material. Not only that, but I wonder if a high-mileage car would have that great, faded-in typical Levi look after many years of use! Hey, didn't Ford make a "Levi Van" around the same time?

My parents bought a brand new '73 Gremlin X off the showroom floor for my mom..... There was one of these Levis Gremlins sitting right next to it.

BTW - The interiors do fade with age and use...

For a Gremlin, that's pretty cool.

Neat cars. I remember seeing a few around back in the 70's as a kid. I could have sworn the purple Gremlin down the street had a Levi interior. A lady owned it and I remember looking at the buttons on the seat through the window on several occasions.

Cool car !!

Not to hijack the thread, but I thought this was a similar theme. And another interesting AMC car.
I know where a 'Pierre Cardin' Javelin has been sitting for years. I looked closely at the car many many years ago, but have passed by and seen it at a distance form the road more recently. Have not been by there for a few years, but if I am in the area, i will stop and take a pic or two. If my memory serves me, I believe it may be an AMX actually,( but maybe not..dont quote me on that part). I seem to remember it having a rear seat.
I know it was a little later than the first AMX'x..maybe 72-73? My buddy had an early AMX when I was a kid and this car has a little different body style..somewhat bigger and longer looking...and my buddy's car definitely had no back seat !!
The interior of this car has a funky multicolored stripe on the seats and also a matching multicolored stripe across tha headliner (if I recall). Thats the thing I most remember about the car.
I seem to recall some kind of stripes on the rear fin? or something (a decal maybe?) small on the side in the rear..maybe just the side of the fin? Maybe a matching stripe?? I forget...
Anyone got a pic of one?? This car is white..
I guess the companies paid AMC for sponsorship? or the dealer paid the company??. I guess it was a big advertising package. I wonder how that worked...
