Default who had that car ?

Years ago on this board, someone had a 70 Nova I believe that was either for sale or was just talked about some. If I remember correctly it was a non ss Nova but had an LT1 and buckets with no console. Very plain looking interior. Seems like it was a silver or grey car. Just wondering and would like to see pictures of it again if anyone has a link.

You're probably thinking of Copo Petes little silver Nova.

It's a shame that more dealers didn't jump on the COPO bandwagon in 1970 like they did with the '69 Camaros. I'm sure that most people on this site are aware of the story of how the one particular Canadian dealership only ordered TWO of the LT-1 COPO '70 Novas. Pete's Silver car and the Green one that's been documented as destroyed long ago. I'm a big fan of LT-1's with 4-Speeds but the Yenko Deuces are a bit on the flashy side for my taste. Give me a plain-jane Gobi Beige, dog-dish cap'ed, LT-1, 4-Speed '70 COPO Nova and I'd be a happy customer!

Central ordered 10, but only received 2 - it is not known why.

I remember Pete's Nova and its one of my favorites. I must be thinking of another Nova though. could have been a 69 or 70 but it was a small block and was bare bones inside. I wish I could remember why it was so odd. Seems like it had a stick, vinyl floor and buckets. The buckets were almost van like they were so plain. Some of you guys have a mind like Encyclopedia Brittanica so I figured someone would remember. Me, I have my keys in hand and can't remember why
