Theorhetically, if you had $10k (only $10k) to spend on a muscle car or classic in today's market, what would you buy?

I'd buy a smart car and then put the money I'd be saving in gas into a bank account and eventually buy a copo chevelle.

The best 10K car would be a 1987 Buick Grand National, plenty of them around for that price range.

That's changing rapidly. I think an early ('83 or '84) Stage III Dominator Mustang is about the best 80's bang for the buck out there, as far as potential value down the road. If you can find one. I'd take every one I could get at ten large. |

I'd buy the numbers matching 71 LS5 el Camino in my area with 4 speed and AC for $8,500. Haven't even had the time to check it out yet.
