Default Radiator cushing pads???

I ordered a set of radiator cushing pads top and bottom for my 68 Nova from my parts supplier I always use. They aren't even close to the originals! They are about an inch longer than my originals and won't fit into the nova core support. All three catalogs they have list the same part number for these cushings. I think they are for BB chevelle only??? Looking for someone that has ordered them for a SB Camaro or Nova. What parts supplier did you use. I hate when you order something and it won't fit the application they list it for.

Try giving D&R Camaro a call, they are a sponsor on this site.

This is my problem. You can see the after market ones vs my originals?

I had a similar problem with my 69 Chevelle. It's been over 5 years, but I think Year-One has what you need too.

Try ordering the three-core pads instead. I think Year-One does have them, too. Also, if they can't help, something tells me Fusick (the Olds parts guy) has them for a three core. I bought a set for a three core and they fit perfect in an aftermarket aluminum racing readiator in one of my Oldsmobiles. I guess the parts houses order "generic bulk" and assume they fit everything, then its $20.00 and not worth the hassle for the customer to call, complain, and go through the effort of returning them. I'm sure you are not the only person to have brand new "wrong" ones in your private inventory!

I would rather have the 20 dollars in my pocket. LOL.. This company didn't even offer them for a three core. I just cleaned up my orginals they are still soft and plyable. They just don't have that little knubb sticking through the core support. I know I have issues. LOL

Thanks for the replys.
