Default 1969 exhaust supplier

Was Walker a supplier for exhaust parts, mufflers, pips hangers to GM in 1969?

Anyone know for sure?

I had an NOS in the box GM muffler that I sold a few years ago, and it had a "W" embossed in it.

Yes, they were the vendor for the chambered systems as well as all other components. Business was shared with Maremont, Arvin and Goerlich.
