If you want to find modern equivalents, Google pozzi racing and he has charts to compare to new springs

I've posted a new thread on Impala.net forum for help on this topic. Hopefully I'll hear from someone soon for an answer.

CZ fits a variety of cars/engines, including 327, 396, 427 and sp hi perf 427. This comes right out of the GM parts book chart.

Someone at Impala.net got back to me and said that the information you're looking for should be in the 1966 Assembly Manual. Hope that helps.
