Default 14 x 7 wheel question

Found a guy with a set of wheels. He is telling me the stamp is TX by the valve stem? I can't find anything that would match up to that. I haven't seen them yet so I can't verify if it's dyslexia and it's really XT.

Anyone know what TX would be?

I've heard of some TX 14x6 wheels before but have never seen them.

Good news, nobody is suffering from dyslexia, yet......lol.

I too have a mint set of the infamous TX stamped rims. As far as their origin, I am also not sure.

Lets see where this takes us.

Are they 14 x 7? I'm still waiting for my pictures and I was having him measure to make sure they are 7"

Yes indeed, we had a measuring malfunction.

I'll tell you I was a little excited when I asked him if he knew there was a code on the rim and he said it was XT or TX or something.....Oh well, at $150 for four with caps I knew my luck wasn't that good.
