Was on facebook today and noticed there was talk of possibly bringing back the Chevelle. I read some info on the link below and saw these two photos on a Chevelle facebook page. Check it out!

I currently own a 1969 Camaro SS350. Although the original drivetrain is long gone, this 4/speed car has a March '69 HC coded block with #041 heads. The transmission is an M20 Muncie #660 case and the rearend is a BS coded 12 bolt posi. Built in Van Nuys. |

Looks like current Camaro architecture could potentially live on when the switch happens in 2016.
I kind of like the idea. |

I always chuckle at these photos. The 60's muscle car designs are so iconic that they have to bring them back just so they have good looking vehicles today.

I love the idea too, and I'm a strong GM man, but in my opinion I think the new Challenger styling beats the brakes off of the new Camaros and this Chevelle concept. Gm is not even close.

If they design it to these actual drawings the car might not be so bad.. But they like to go and change something on the front or rear end which totally makes the car look like crap IMO. I don't know why they didn't design the new Camaros from the factory with similar or the same front and rear ends as the front and rear end kits that you can buy that make it look very much like the original 69s..

There is a thread on this concept Chevelle on here, I cannot seem to find it.

It looks better than the 70 Chevelle someone built years ago off of the GTO body.

I agree 100% This Red Color is not correct for a '69 Inspiration....it should be "Garnet Red" and not the 1970 Color of "Cranberry Red"....but I understand that this is what sells. The "Fathom Blue" is dead on The same goes for the Deck Stripes.... it needs a '69 Side Stripe Dan

I like the roof-line and overall style. Front and back end still need some work. Nice start though.
