Default Hobby Shop Man Cave

He just started erecting this.
Bob Beers is a respected long time Aurora/AFX slot car collector,as well as a vintage Ford owner/collector,so he merged the two in his garage.
http://www.auroraslotcarsbobbeers.com/home.html

Inside, that building is filled with thousands of old slot cars, sets, accessories and hobby shop displays. Some never seen by the general public.
Bobs' written a book about collecting & IDing old Aurora AFX slot cars & sets.

I like the tow hitch in the Mustang. I'm not sure why, but I like it.

Nice cave!

I'm an avid slot car collector too.
The smell of a slot car after you apply power to it is one of those distinct smells that takes you back to your youth, like that of leaded gasoline.
A little more about Bob.

The last paragraph is something I think most of us can relate to.

I probably have the better part of a couple hundred T-Jets. At one point I was a dealer for the first incarnation of Model Motoring [the current MM not Aurora]

Bob Beers is the bomb!

Because once upon a time they were just cars that we used to tow our ski or sail boat out to the lake and back.
