Default M22 Date Code VS. TT Car Date....HELP

Can anyone here verify if these date codes are compatible???

Trim Tag: 04B (second week of April)
Trans. Stamping: P0D20C (20th day of April)

Engine code is prior to TT date.

Could a trans possibly have a post dated stamp? Does the M22 have any effect on availability?

I need some help with this as all other stampings & casting dates seem correct & original.

Thanks guys. Dicky

No, all parts would be on hand before the car would be sequenced for build.

Is the cars partial VIN stamped in the trans? One possibility is the trans should have been stamped April 2nd which was a Wednesday instead of April 20th which was a Sunday. In that case, the date lines up nicely with the body build date.

Thanks guys for the responses. I have yet to see photos of the trans. stamping from the seller.
I have seen the TT & the eng. stamping in real photos.
The trans. numbers were just transcribed to me until a picture is available, so there could be an error.
The car's VIN is also correctly stamped on the trans. But without pics?????

Here are a couple of pics that I have. Comments welcome.

70 z-28 white, with black stripes and black standard interior. 4.10 or 3.73 rear? RS car? Sounds like it is a nice looking car. How about a few pictures?

I like it. Tag looks good. I don't like that he put the ignition instruction sleeve on the sun visor. That was a 69 thing to show you how to use the new column mounted ignition cylinder.

Just took a look at your previous post for the car and the link to the photos. Seems like a very nice car and very well optioned. My first car that I bought in 1980 back in high school was a 70 Z-28 which I still own 33 years later, so I am partial to these cars. Mine is very similarly equipped to this one you are looking at and has a "28.10" stamping on the TT.

Even if the trans stamping is correct as the seller conveyed to you, (April 20) I think it is close enough to the body build date that it could very well be original to the car. The second week of April could be as late as Friday April 11th, so that would be 9-days prior to the transmission assembly date, so while somewhat unusual would not be out of the realm of possibilities.

Good luck.

Thanks COPO, I will have photos soon to see if it was a transposed
number by seller. Thanks you folks & SYC for the help, I will probably be asking more of the
forum.
