Default What type of ladder bars are these???

They have been on my 70 Camaro since I bought it years ago...they are welded to the original 12 bolt rear and bolted to the floor pans up front...they are made from a tube steel...They look like one could make them, but they look too professional...any ideas?? anyone seen bars like these?? thanks!!

Ansen made some that were very close to those as well as a company called MAS. I have seen them in old ads in very late 60's and very early 70's magazines. I think they look very cool.

They are apparently made that way for floorpan clearance. I can also see that the car looks to have stock leaf spring mounts on the housing tubes. Should be floaters. If someone were to start making some serious power with some sticky tires, I can promise you that those stock spring perches would rip off the housing tubes. Been there, done that.

Those are sweet as all get out. Probably been on there 30-plus years.

I was running a '70 Z in 1971, and I could bake those F70-15's at will, only headers away from stock. Like everyone else back then, we were screwing slicks onto the rims for strip use (J/Stock Automatic), and pretty much everyone was running slappers of some configuration or another, mostly the widespread designs available speedshops. If there was a "sticky" tire back then, it was out of my affordability range.
