Rich, they did sell hi po cars they were on metropolitan ave and fresh pond road in ridge wood. As a kid we would visit the cemetary, go to neiderstiens for German food and drive by the dealership. They were in business until a couple of years ago. Is that where the tin soldier came from?

It is what came back from NCRS. However, the original owner Ron, worked for GM in the Norwood plan and not only ordered Tin Soldier from Queen City Chevrolet, he actually built Tin Soldier on the line (touched most of the stations) and drove it off the line himself. It was then shipped to Queen City Chevrolet where Ron took Delivery. We are both confused as to why the NCRS came back as Meyer Chevrolet. This car is very well known, and no known connections with New York. Odd. My 70 Z COPO came back as Dealer 325 Zone 19, unknown dealer. I have the buildsheet on the Z, which says Marion Chevrolet, Woodburn Oregon, and the buildsheet reflects that zone/dealer so I guess I can email NCRS with that info? Rich

Might be an error on their part

![]() If not an error, again the GM info gleaned for the NCRS database may be dealer codes invoiced for specific Vins regardless of where or what dealer vehicles were shipped to? Why Myers in this case needs more investigation, lots of reasons to do it and not all necessarily approved by GM...quantity incentives, house sales, joint/family operations - new/failing dealers needing sold units posted etc? And yes update the NCRS site w/ your Marion Chevrolet dealer info, best is include noting that the info is from your original build sheet. Good luck! ~ Pete
