I think these cars cause some guys looking and chevys and fords, to pause before spending 70K. I myself would wait till all this hype dies down, then get one. GM and Ford have to hate the Hellcat.
And if that does not happen, just wait for one to come up used with low miles. The Viper went through this in its early days. Now look what you can get a used viper for. Someday....
