Default Auctions America Auburn IN

I was in Auburn on Saturday for the classic car auction. There weren't a lot of muscle cars there, but here are some of the unique ones I came across.

This Autumn Gold LS6 was advertised as a numbers matching 4 speed car with a build sheet. It was sold new at Mark Maple Chevrolet in Chicago IL. It was a nice driver quality car, but there were a lot of things that were incorrect under the hood.

Nice 19 19 RAIV 4 speed Judge with PHS documents. No mention of original drivetrain, so I'm guessing it wasn't.

This Judge convertible was listed as a 1 of 1 car. Limelight Green with green top and interior. It was advertised as a numbers matching RAIII with an automatic. It was a nice car but the tailpipes appeared to be hanging a little low.

This Dart 440 was a documented original LC Max Wedge car with the original drivetrain. The fender tag showed C2 and N0 which I believe is for the TorqueFlite and LC Max Wedge respectively.

This Sport Fury was a documented LC Max Wedge car with a 4 speed that was sold new in Oakland CA. There was no fender tag on the car, but there was paperwork with it and the VIN is in Darrel Davis' book.

This Coronet 440 is an original Hemi car with 23K miles. It had a bench seat with a TorqueFlite.

This Road Runner was one of the nicest cars present. It was an original Hemi car with a 4 speed and the STP with 4.10's.

This Road Runner convertible was another 1 of 1 car. It was TX9 with a white top and Burnt Orange bench seat interior. It was advertised as having the original drivetrain. It is a 4 speed car with the A33 rear end.

That would probably be Clark-Maple Chevrolet. Thanks for posting the pics!

The dealer for the LS6 probably was Clark Maple. The corner of the Build Sheet was missing and the copy wasn't the greatest. All I could read was the ark so I guessed it as Mark. I should have Googled it to see what was correct.

I was there most of the day on Saturday and didn't see a Gold 67 Z/28. I definately would have checked it out if I had seen it. I did see a Matador Red 68 Z/28 there, but it had some stuff wrong with it. One of my pet pieves on 1st gen Z's is incorrectly painted stripes closely followed by incorrect grills.
