Default Someone school me on the 69/70 Chevelle SS rim

I just acquired 10 69/70 SS chevelle rims. I'm gonna keep 5 and prolly sell 5 but I need help with the dates and codes. Most all of them have AO stamped by the valve stem with some numbers. They all have 14/7 JJ 887 stamped on the inside of the rim. Seven of them have made in USA on them and three say made in Canada. Thanks

This photo of my rims may help.
For example 1 22 would be January 22 and the rest is explained under the text of the photo. First number is the month and second is the date.

Mike,

Your going to need YA Wheels, unless your Chevelle is extremely late built.

WelI I guess that was easy. Looks like I'm gonna figure out the dates and list them in YCS classifieds. I need a set of YA rims.

I don't think there is a difference between the two but 69 used the YA stamp and the AO was used in 70. If your not doing the numbers game your AO will work because once you pop your trim ring on nobody will know anyway. Dill caps are the original valve stem caps. It's worth looking at the date codes on your rims though, 4 rims with the same date codes bring good money.

You might want to check the balance/run out before parting with any of them. They're steel wheels.
