Default Anyone from Saginaw or Bay City Michigan in1970's?

I was wondering if anyone who lived in or near Saginaw or Bay City remember a dark green 1970 Deuce in that area between 1970 and 1976? It may have been associated with a 1/4 mile race track there, but not sure. I'm still trying to gather missing information about my Deuce. Thanks..

Try finding something on Tri-City Dragway.

Also, you might try looking for info for Mid Michigan Motorplex, (current name) which back in the day was referred to as Central Michigan Dragway, Edmore, McBride, or Stanton.

I have a friend that owned a known green Deuce a 100 miles north if there, but I don't ever believe he raced it at Stanton

Hi Vern B,
Thanks for the info. I don't think this Duece was ever raced, it was cut up to be a 1/2 mile racer in 1973 (or thereabouts) but never finished and never raced. The guy who owned it must have been a professional frame/ rollcage maker, because the sale of this car came with a heavy duty tube frame as well as the jig that made it....

So are you looking for info on oval tracks that were in the area, or dragstrips? Responses so far are about dragstrips.

I'm looking for either/or. This particular car was owned by a racer in that area in the early 70's who may have been part of a racing club back then...

I found out it was Tri-City Dragway, if anyone's ever seen a green Deuce around there in the early 70's..

Bump.. Not finding much info on this car in/ near Saginaw or Bay City because it seems that this car may have moved around somewhat. So as a result, I'm expanding the search radius to the northeastern part of the U.S...

So does anyone have any information on a forest green Deuce between the years of 1970-1976? Looking mainly in the states of Pennsylvania and Michigan, but wouldn't rule out Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Virginia, Missouri or Tennessee.

When I gather all the missing pieces of the history, I'm going to follow up about the car in the "Have I found a real Yenko" thread. So far, alot of people have been VERY helpful (Thanks to you all), but this car is very unknown, so finding any info on it has been next to impossible so far...
