I know I'm a tad late to the party....how would you go about doing a dead nuts top end detail to a car that has seen 30 miles on it in the last 25 years that had a frame off. Its dusty and dingy like on the NOS interior seat covers, nos dash pad, nos rubber floor, motor compartment etc before the show this weekend. Its sprayed in black and white Emmeron (sp?) and I'm going to give it a good bath tonight so I can start rubbing out all the haziness to the black. Its just really really dusty too.

25-30 years ago what was thought to be correct vs what actually is correct was much less clear than it is today. example - The paint dabs on every nut and bolt on the chassis is also generally recognized as "restoration graffiti". With that being said if it was restored correctly with correct phosphate, zinc di-chromate, & cad platings 25 years ago are they show worthy today? Are the head markings on the fasteners correct?
You can go as KRAZY on details as you want, we will indulge you... what exactly is your starting point and how far do you wish to take it?
