any one have baldwin motion late built camaro vin info i found to very close vins to my car here is my story i found my 69 camaro copo in a barn in 1990 in lexinton ohio 10 miles from my house the owner did not no much about the car he told me he bought the car in mansfeild ohio from daved horning i called dave he was no help at all in 2005 a man called me from columbus ohio said he ownd the car in 1973 he wanted to buy the car it was not for sale then the man wood not give me a strate anser about the car he was very STRANEG SO IM STEAL LOOKING FOR INFO ON MY CAR ANY HELP WOOD BE GREAT THANKS LARRY VIN N7096

Have you sent into NCRS for paperwork showing what dealer your car was shipped to new ?

Larry you have what might be one of the very last COPO Camaros built. Take Charley's advice and get the NCRS report. Seeking out VINs close to your car is not going to help much. COPOs were generally not built in a VIN sequence.
Regarding the roose wherein a previous owner dating back to 1973 found you and wanted to buy the car from you......that is just someone knowing what you had and setting a stage to try and buy it from you. IMO if a prior owner from 1973 had found you and the car, he would want to see it, especially if he was a only a couple hours drive from you. JMHO. Good Luck. |
