Just using rough figures, around 1 in 6 of all the Camaros produced for the 69 MY had A/C. Of the total production, nearly 17,600 were convertibles. Even if the 1 in 6 was applicable equally to 'verts as to coupes, that would equate to only approx 3,000 convertibles with factory A/C. In reality, I would think that far fewer 'verts had that option, but purely my speculation.
Several of the core CRG guys frequent this site, so would like to hear what their database stats and opinions would be on this.

Good luck on the project! I think mostly southern cars would have been ordered with A/C, it added some $$ on the $$$ they spent on the vert option.

OP says it is an X11, so not a big block car.

I have owned two convertibles, one small block car and currently own a X66 car. Neither had/have ac. While looking for these cars to buy I have found few that have ac. There is nom pace car 4 speed, ac car for sale right now near Charlotte. I know the car and it is not a bad driver. Needs paint though.

The Pace Car I had was air conditioned w/SBC 4sp. Engine went south due to previous owner's DA driving -- I bought car from him and installed a 396 I had under the bench. Wife drove the crap out of it before deciding she wanted a new Z-28 -- she admitted her mistake after selling the Pace Car and getting her new "lemon" 79' Z ... life is a learning process!!
