Need help finding SARCHEVYMAN from team chevelle

[b]LS6 Block-Is this yours??


Came across a 512 4bolt CRV BLock, dated k49. Found out a little history , guy said he remembered it being pulled from a dark Green Chevelle way back when. Vin# is 10A125517. Really funny thing is on the front of the block under the water pump cover on the engine casting, it has Hi PER ASS stamped in high raised letters, I know it should say HI PER PASS, I swear, I looked it over really close and there is nothing grinded off, any thoughts on this, I will post a pic tomorrow. Just though I may be able to hook someone up with their original block if not its probably going on ebay. PLEASE HELP.....This the original engine block out of my chevelle and desperately need help locating him, the above is a ad that is 10 years old and came out in team chevelle tech section, by a guy that goes by the name of SARCHEVYMAN and is from Sarasota, Fl , it is a long shot that he still has it but I just have to find out. He lived in Sarasota, FL and belonged to corvetteforum.com amongst others and his name is Steve. Place to start anyway.... Of all the forums I found that he frequented, he stopped posting on all of them as of March of 2009. Not a good sign.

Try putting an ad in the Sarasota, FL. Craigslist. Worth a shot.

Check the SSDI. Social security death index, go to Ancestry.com, type in the persons name, and if comes back with additional info, then that person is now an ancestor. No info, they might still be with us.

Thanks you guys for all of the feedback. I have gotten as far as his name is indeed Steve and he has stopped posting on a lot of the forums as late as 09' however he just had a ad on a corvette forum as late as November of last year with a phone #. Funny thing is I called the phone number and the lady that answered the phone said that she had the phone # for a few years and that she believed that the # used to belong to him at one time cause she was getting calls, however when I went back to the ad a few days ago, the ad was removed???? so... I'am stumped at this point. I wish I had a last name to go on.

I did some brief searching. His name is Steven W James. He sold his house in Sarasota, FL in Sept 2009.
Looks like maybe he got separated from his wife as the sale docs show him in Round Rock, Texas and her in Florida.

Looks like his eBay account was active end of Oct. '15 as link below.
