that seems like a great car !! RS Z..M-22..all numbers match...
I like the paint even though it's an off color. Could drive it while detailing underneath and building engine !! reasonable price

Shouldn't the VIN be stamped by the oil filter?

I'd like to see the engine pad without paint on it.

What struck me odd was, who would have paid $20K for a '70 Z in 1990?

That is a terrible pic of the pad... the VIN's on my 2 70 Z's were near the oil filter.... hmmmm... and the trans assembly date of Feb. seems pretty early, although I guess not unheard of....but I do like the looks of the spacing between the VIN numbers on the block as they correspond to the VIN stamped on the trans.(from what I can tell in the pic)

Anyone ever seen a VIN stamped on the pad on a 70 Z? is this a VN car? maybe that is why?

It's a Norwood car from the partial vin. No one would have paid 20k for a 70 Z in 1990! I don't like what I can see of the pad stamp, it's very crooked.

Ad is on New York CL. The car is in Seattle. I'd be cautious about that one.
