Default Gen VI 489ci bored .020 & stroked to 502ci 10.2"

I just picked up a 502 for my 69 last week after being offered a deal that I felt was too good to pass up. $2,500 intake to pan. It's a full roller 2015 8.0L (489ci) 10.2" deck GM block with 502 heads on it. Bored .020 & stroked to 502". 540hp/520lbft. It was just recently built by an engine shop and my buddy offered it up. He knew it would be perfect for my 69 Camaro. Would I pick a tall deck normally? No, but I think it will work out perfectly.
Initially I was hesitant about putting a tall deck in, but it fits excellent. The only issues are: 1. The Doug's header collector is just touching my floor. A small dimple will take care of that. The rest of the header fits excellent. There's more room everywhere else like between the header and the PS pump. 2. The valve cover just touches the factory 11" booster I have and I don't want to change it out. Again, a small mod to the valve cover or a Vette notched style one and I'll be good to go. 3. The roller cam doesn't have provisions for a fuel pump rod. The block does though. So I have to hide an electric fuel pump and regulator. I'm trying to keep everything basically day 2 stock looking to the average guy.
4. This is the one I'm taking a little time on. The intake offerings for oval port heads on a tall deck block are few and far between. The intake that is on it is an Edelbrock performer using spacers. I don't like that. I included a pic I took from inside with a cheap snake camera I have. You have to use a special distributor if you use the spacers. Most a/m tall deck manifolds have a recessed dizzy hole so you can use a regular dizzy. The intake Dart offers requires you to mill .060" to mate it to Chevy heads. Other than maybe a marine application intake, most of the rest are for rectangular port only. I'm thinking about just going that route. My understanding is that a lot of guys run rectangular port intakes on oval port heads. I'm not competing, but I want all the power I can get within reason.
Any thoughts? Good deal? Would you run the rectangular port intake on an oval port head? If not, why? Any suggestions on a driver's side valve cover? I'd really love to run my Mickey Thompson covers, but I don't think they're going to work out.

Pics from when I was being built.
